American Heart Assoc.
Lee County Heart Walk

2015 – Fort Myers, FL

(Dec. 12, 2015) — Team Spiro took to the streets for the 2015 Lee County Heart Walk in December and had a great time. Some ran, some walked, some crawled. But it was well worth the time and effort as the American Heart Association holds a special place in our collective hearts. Plus, with our financial donation it is the least we can do to help fight cardiovascular diseases and stroke — the nation’s No.1 and No. 5 killers.

Of course we can always use the exercise, as we trekked the 3.1-mile course that meandered across the downtown Fort Myers River District, onto the Edison Bridge with its sweeping vistas, and back to Centennial Park. At that point it was time for some adult beverages at a local watering hole where we toasted to hearty brews (yeah, OK, and to good heart health too).

Interested in joining us for Lee County Heart Walk 2016? Give us a call. Or sign up your own team. We heart you!

Spiro & Associates supports ‘Rock R Socks’ for
Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southwest Florida

Spiro & Associates Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations & Brand Architecture is helping Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southwest Florida ( to “turn the town red and white” by participating in “Rock R Socks,’’ the nonprofit’s latest awareness campaign.

The charitable organization asked the public to wear red-and-white socks, have a photo taken of themselves and send it to the House along with the reason why they support the charity by October 8. Team Spiro made a financial donation to the nonprofit for pairs of red-and-white-striped socks, and sent a team photo of the employees wearing them. A donation for each pair of socks also covers the cost to house a family at RMHC for one night. RMHC of Southwest Florida is posting participants’ photos on their website.

On October 15, Team Spiro will once again wear red and white to help the House celebrate the 40th anniversary of the first Ronald McDonald House.

I had done our marketing in house for almost 40 years. Knowing I wasn’t capable of taking it any further I interviewed three marketing companies. Chris Spiro and his team outshined the others and has not disappointed me since. One of the greatest successes is our new, revitalized “Talking Door” Dooree. We are achieving even greater success with Spiro’s help.
